Y'all discuss new designers, thrift shops, politics, beauty secrets and new cultural terrain. The apartment may have limited space, yet it's cozy and warm. It's an invitation to converse, write, make art, and become intimate with soul.

Beauty in 7C is for anyone who's looking to expand their creative ideas. Oftentimes, whether a New Yorker or a New Orleanian, with the spirit of an urban gazelle or rural mink, people can lock into a routine of working, paying bills, repeat, to make sure a roof stays over their head.
I believe that only with intellectual curiosity, a desire for vibrancy and color, and a willingness to experiment with different arts centered modalities, does any place become a true home. While home does occur between beams and ceilings, home also lives in the body and mind.

Why Beauty in 7C?
I relish an opportunity to explore and write down how culture and beauty intertwine, how spiritual beliefs dictate one's creative pursuits, and how cultural politics informs one's sense of identity.
In Brooklyn, I relied on my community and neighbors who lived in my apartment building or in one of the buildings on my block, for creative inspiration, personal swag operandi, and general wisdom for navigating life. In New Orleans, while I no longer live in an apartment building, I still rely on my neighbors and community for a beautiful shared
creative life.

I left the magical borough of Brooklyn for the magical city of New Orleans with hopes of deepening my writing. My preferred style is fiction.
I also harbor a passion for makeup, skincare, and all things beauty as I believe these are key elements for spiritual maintenance. I want you to feel confident in your own imagination and skin.
